TV tonight: 'Big Bang,' 'Person of Interest,' 'Office'

The Big Bang Theory
CBS, 8 ET/PT
At the SAG Awards on Sunday, Tina Fey asked viewers to, just for once, record Big Bang and watch the series finale of her NBC comedy, 30 Rock (8 ET/PT) live instead. Series finale or no, that's not the priority I'd assign to the two shows, but if you are going to delay or skip Big Bang, you should at least know what you're missing: a forced partnership between Sheldon and Kripke (John Ross Bowie) that plunges Sheldon into a crisis of confidence. There. You choose.
Person of Interest
CBS, 9 ET/PT
For two supposed experts in surveillance, don't Reese and Finch get kidnapped a lot? Not as often, grant you, as Peggy got nabbed in Mannix, but often enough to make you question their abilities. As you may tonight, when Reese gets abducted by an old acquaintance whose latest scheme could put Reese in even more danger. We assume he'll escape. Let's hope, when he does, he learns his lesson.
NBC, 9 ET/PT
To fill the time between the end of 30 Rock and the launch of Do No Harm (10 ET/PT), NBC is airing a double run of this soon-to-conclude comedy. In the first, Dwight uses Jim's absence as an excuse to fill the office with some of his cronies. In the second, Pam turns to Dwight for help when her warehouse mural is defaced. It seems doubtful that either episode would serve as a good lead-in for Do No Harm, but then, Do No Harm doesn't deserve one, so it all works in the end.
